This project transformed two adjoining commercial units into a fully NHS-compliant GP surgery in a high-footfall high street location, designed to meet the needs of the local community. The development involved a full strip-out, change of use from C3 (residential) to D1 (medical), a rear extension and complete internal reconfiguration to house seven doctors and associated healthcare services.
Maximising Space & Functionality
The surgery was designed to provide a practical and patient-friendly environment incorporating:
- Optimised consultation and treatment rooms, designed to NHS standards
- Spacious reception and waiting areas, enhancing patient experience and accessibility
- Staff facilities and administrative areas, ensuring efficient operations
- A rear extension, maximising clinical space for future growth
